Reconnect with nature
at Padma Chalets
Our mission is to create a place of rest where you feel at home.
Padma is a perfect place to stay whether you are looking for a special base camp to explore the unique natural beauty and incredible culinary offerings in the local area or are seeking a serene retreat where you can simply relax and unwind.
Our chalets sit on ancient wetlands above the sacred South West Yarragadee aquifer which is understood to be the resting place of the Waugyl, or Rainbow Serpent, which is the Dreaming creature responsible for the creation of waterways throughout the Perth and South West of WA.
We are surrounded by 27 acres of old growth Karri forrest filled with native fauna, and look out over an inlet which attracts thousands of birds including some migratory species from as far away as Siberia who fly four months to visit this land.
Relax & unwind
Arriving at Padma Chalets you will immediately become aware of the sounds and sights of the local fauna and birdlife. This tranquil environment on the inlet has a soothing effect giving everyone the opportunity to unwind and enjoy this natural setting no matter what time of the year you decide to arrive.
Inlet paradise
A short drive from Padma Chalets will reward you with our beautiful beaches and breath taking coastline of the Great Southern Region where the forrest truly does meet the sea.
A taste of the south west
When you decide to venture out from the tranquility at Padma Chalets, you will find our local area is blessed with a range of world-class distilleries, wineries, restaurants and cafes where you can sample the best of what the Great Southern has to offer.
Surrounded by nature

There are also numerous walk trails that cater for both novice and experienced individuals alike including sections of the Bibbulmum and Munda Biddi tracks.
OUR CHALETS
Wolfes Landing
Chalet
Wolfe’s Landing is a beautifully rustic building overlooking the spectacular Nenamup Inlet.

This chalet is named after the original surveyor for the original Albany jetty where the large structural timbers for this rustic piece of architecture come from. Wolfe’s Landing - now the Albany jetty – which was the embarkation point for soldiers heading to Gallipoli. Timbers rescued from this jetty are the signature feature of this chalet, and are a poignant and constant reminder of those who have gone before us.

You will enjoy stunning inlet and forest views from all levels but especially from the elevated balcony. It is set in beautiful, open landscaped grounds providing extra space for larger groups.
Nullaki
Chalet
This stunning, modern chalet is named after the local Nullaki peninsula.
As soon as you walk in the door you will feel at home in this elegant, comfortable and spacious chalet. Nullaki is nestled amongst the Karri forest, overlooking a magical grove of paperbark and peppermint trees which is home to a vast array of frogs and birds whose voices provide a soothing backdrop to your stay.
You can enjoy these stunning views day or night from the lounges on the beautiful timber deck, and an outdoor table means that you can stay connected to this beautiful location no matter what you are doing.
